In the role of Traffic EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

  • Provide engineering, design, and production support.
  • Support Project Engineers in development of traffic studies including traffic impact analyses, traffic signal timing plans, microscopic simulation modeling, and macroscopic simulation modeling.
  • Will work closely with Project Engineers/Project Managers to prepare PS&E plans including signing and striping, traffic signals, illumination, and traffic control plans for various state and local agencies.
  • Applicant should have prior experience in these areas and should be able to work in a team environment.
  • May make decisions on design and engineering procedures.
  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
  • Experience with Highway Capacity Software, Microstation or AutoCAD, ArcGIS, TransCAD, or VISSIM is a plus.
  • Master's degree in Transportation/Traffic engineering discipline preferred
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Ability to multitask while working on many projects at once
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
