Overview

R&P is looking for an experienced Junior Marine Engineer who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Junior Marine Engineer ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to redesign and improve the U.S. Naval Shipyard capabilities for the U.S. Navy.

Responsibilities
    Provides Total Ship Systems Engineering support for the Technical PAPM throughout each hulls Shipbuilding and Conversion (SCN) period to include the introduction, development and fielding in the areas of Ship Design/Hull, Mechanical and Electrical.
  • Provides engineering support to all aspects of Ship systems engineering.
  • Develops and provides to the Government draft responses to industry queries.
  • Provides support in the Government's development of all required technical documentation for future milestones.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering.
  • Experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
  • LCS Experience preferred
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
