Job/Internship Description

Position Summary:

Direct Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry-leading products, solutions and platforms to help improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them.

In the Innovation Team Intern position, you'll work on a team that builds, evaluates, and commercializes technology and product offerings that solve key problems for the senior care industry. You will collaborate with the team on externally and internally developed innovations that seek to increase revenue, cut costs, improve health outcomes, as well as leverage technology to address persistent labor shortages. Additionally, you will be instrumental in creating and managing dashboarding for ARR (annually recurring revenue) businesses and maintaining the Innovation Lab visitor experience.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Project Management

    • Participate in the creation of project plans and maintain and execute the plans as defined.

    • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure continued progress towards established milestones. Set agendas, take notes, follow-up and ensure completion of project activities.

    • Create process mapping for new product offerings.

    • Organize and maintain project shared folders for relevant documents and information.

    • Update the Innovation Lab to ensure a positive customer visit experience

    • Miscellaneous assignments (recent examples include reprogramming a 1950s baseball scoreboard and redesigning a museum-like exhibit with an artist-in-residence)

  • Reporting

    • Provide visibility to leadership on project status for each project/partnership, identify potential risks and call attention to concerns. This includes email communication as well as building presentations and metric sheets for monthly meetings.

    • Manage the data entry and presentation of the Diligence platform.

    • Develop and manage sales pipeline trackers.

Experience:

  • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in business or related field

  • Adept with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work full time during the summer (~40 hours/week) and part-time during the school year (~15-20 hours/week).

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI a strong plus
