Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Production Control Technician to work in our Master Scheduling & Planning department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Specific Manufacturing Capabilities (SMC) facility with every Friday off.

In this position, you will provide production planning, and inventory management support for SMC Fabrication and Assembly related activities. As well as daily support to the production department for performance of development activities.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide support to the SMC Materials Department Master Scheduling & Planning Manager for the planning and coordination of SMC production.
  • Maintain the INFOR production planning system.
  • Responsible for tracking and management of classified and project sensitive materials and supplies and for maintaining an accurate inventory of accountable items.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and with management approval implements changes to materials management policies.
  • Support warehouse, production, material handlers, quality, shipping and receiving personnel on daily use of INFOR manufacturing requirements planning (MRP) system.
Minimum Requirements:
  • TS0300: HS diploma (or GED equivalent) and 4 years experience
  • TS0400: HS diploma (or GED equivalent) and 6 + years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Production control or inventory management experience required.
  • Previous experience in ERP system or other production planning software.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

  • TS0400 - 180 ($64,272 - $102,840)
