This position will be an integral part of a team responsible for O&M support for existing Lotus Notes applications during a modernization effort to transition the applications and workflows to a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution.

TCG is pleased to offer remote employment in the following states: AL, AZ, CO, CT, DE, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NC, OH, OR, PA (excluding the City of Philadelphia), SC, TN, UT, VA, WV, and WI.

US Citizenship is required for this role. In addition, the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation and be favorably adjudicated before their first day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads Operational & Maintenance activities for multiple Lotus Notes applications
  • Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs new and existing Lotus Notes applications
  • Provides subject matter expertise for all phases of the modernization life cycle including requirements analysis and design
  • Writes technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
  • Works closely with the application development team utilizing Agile development methodology
  • Supports and develops test procedures to test system functionality and generate software troubleshoot reports
  • Supports, maintains, and documents software functionality
  • Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revises programs
  • Participates in application and software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements
  • Consults with the end-user as required to prototype, refine, test, and debug applications to meet needs
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices and skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant application development experience, specifically with Lotus Notes
  • Experience with Domino server administration
  • Experience migrating legacy applications to modern Platform-as-a-Service solutions, preferably O365
  • Develop applications that meet the acceptance criteria specified in the Statement of Work requirements of the contract and produce associated technical documentation
  • Strong knowledge of either one or more of the following systems: Certification, Compliance tracking, Document & Voting system (DVS); Enforcement Priority System; Invoice Tracking
  • Define new content and/or alter existing content as needed to implement User Stories
  • Experience in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile ceremonies and practices
  • Ability to contribute quickly to the project and learn new APIs, libraries, and programming frameworks quickly
  • Ability to prioritize and organize efforts in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, creativity, and a customer service-oriented personality
  • Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Experience using issue/ticket management systems (i.e. Jira, Confluence, Atlassian)

EDUCATION:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Four years of additional experience is acceptable in place of a degree.

Internal title/grade: Software Engineer, Grade 7

All individuals being hired to work for TCG must submit to, and successfully pass, a pre-employment background investigation prior to reporting for their first day of work.
