Job Description

Association Management Associate (Nimble AMS on Salesforce)

As a member of RSM's Nonprofit Relationship Management consulting team, you will be part of our Association Management Software (AMS) group, where you will work directly with association clients to understand their unique needs better and deliver excellent solutions! We are looking for an Association Management Software Consultant who has experience with Nimble AMS on Salesforce to join our team! In this role, you will develop creative solutions, support existing infrastructure, and provide recommendations to support the mission and satisfy the needs of our clients, and your knowledge base of how associations operate will ensure your success in this role. Some of your tasks may include working on new implementation projects, promptly responding to ongoing support cases, and migrating clients to the latest cloud version of the software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document user stories and/or business requirements with solutions and level of effort estimates
  • Support existing clients with ad hoc issues reported through our support desk
  • Configure a system based upon written system user stories or business requirements and document test cases and steps to achieve the system requirement
  • Write client reports using specific system tools, including but not limited to iMIS tools (e.g., intelligent query architect (IQA), SSRS, and Exago report writer) and Salesforce Nimble AMS tools (e.g., list views, reports, advanced analytics, and dashboards)
  • Create websites using built-in content management systems and/or commerce portals
  • Support and develop advanced or extended configuration to meet client workflow and communication needs using system tools and add-on modules (e.g., , Salesforce Flows and Process Builder, Nimble Create templates)
  • Work with our project managers to implement and install new systems based upon documented system requirements or configure/develop new features to enhance existing systems
  • Train clients remotely and/or in person depending upon the engagement
  • Additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • Experience working with or working directly in an association
  • Existing knowledge of the Salesforce Nimble AMS platform (other AMS experience may be considered) and/or existing knowledge of the iMIS Engagement Management System, specifically the most recent versions of the software (20.2.66 and above)
  • Strong knowledge of how system modules work within an association, including membership dues and billing, accounting, and AR, deferred revenue, event management, fundraising and donations, online commerce and orders, certification and programs, and engagement tracking
  • Prior experience with data management and/or conversions, including mapping and transforming data from one system to another and a thorough understanding of underlying tables and how systems are built
  • Understanding of website management concepts and web programming languages (e.g., JavaScript (jQuery), HTML, and CSS)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL or Salesforce SOQL, including the ability to troubleshoot and/or write scripts
  • Experience with Apex coding Solid troubleshooting and online research skills
  • Willingness and ability to achieve and maintain certifications applicable to the primary system(s) you will work with (e.g., Certified iMIS Professional from ASI, Salesforce Administrator)
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate within the internal team and with clients through email, instant messaging systems, project management systems, web conferencing, and in-person
  • Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to ask questions, research new skills and technologies, and cross-train as requested
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to the customer service experience
