THE JOB:

As a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of assigned housekeeping areas. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their time with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Oversee Operations
    • Ensure the smooth operation of the assigned area.
    • Monitor overall performance and efficiency.
  • Supervision and Training
    • Supervise, train, direct, and assist all employees.
    • Distribute workload fairly and evenly.
  • Briefings and Meetings
    • Conduct daily briefings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons.
    • Schedule regular meetings to discuss operations and guest service.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance
    • Ensure cleanliness of rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies.
    • Perform daily written inspections of guest rooms as per department standards.
    • Conduct frequent visual inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Productivity Monitoring
    • Monitor the work productivity of Guest Room Attendants and House Persons.
    • Communicate any productivity issues to the Executive Assistant Housekeeper.
  • Counseling and Discipline
    • Counsel and discipline employees for policy violations.
    • Provide regular feedback on job responsibilities and guest service.

THE SCEHDULE:

This position will be assigned a flex day/swing shift schedule. Below are the shift times:

Day: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Swing: 2:30 pm to 12:00 am

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Communication: Able to express ideas clearly and succinctly.
  • Detail-Oriented: Paying close attention to details ensures precise inventory tracking and minimizes errors.
  • Team-Oriented and Driven: A successful supervisor motivates the team, fosters collaboration, and drives productivity.
  • Education: Possesses ahigh school diploma.
  • Experience: Hasat least 2+ years of experience in a hospitality environment.
