Overview

Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules | Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles | Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget | Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports | Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects.

Major Position Responsibilities
    Supervises accounting staff in daily operations of one or more accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger maintenance, revenue, and asset accounting.
  • Oversees calculating, posting, and verification of financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records.
  • Ensures all analysis and reporting are accurate and prepared in compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Establishes and implements productivity and quality standards.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from the HR Directors & General Managers.

Basic Qualifications
  • Associtates Degree or Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in relevant function.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong People Management skills.
