We are currently seeking a Corridor Manager to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Traffic ITS Team at a client site in Miami, FL.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's Traffic and ITS team provides planning, analysis, modeling, and design development to help traffic run smoothly and safely in some of the largest metros in the US. Our team of traffic engineers, transportation planners, and technical staff provides a comprehensive breadth of knowledge and experience in all facets of modal mobility, accessibility, safety, technology, and deployment. From roadside sign inventories and safety audits to the latest intelligent transportation system (ITS) innovations and applications, our professionals are adept at managing the entire design development and implementation process.

A Corridor Manager is responsible for the operations and maintenance of traffic signals. A Corridor Manager has broad knowledge of signal timing procedures and assists in the resolution of complex problems. They also can identify signal malfunctions and develop procedures to address these issues. This position will aid senior engineering staff in preparing technical reports for various engineering tasks. This individual will work on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
    High School Diploma/GED plus 10 years applicable experience or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Traffic Operations Software (MaxTime, Tactics, Centracs,and/or Cubic) experience required
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting software
  • Experience with Traffic Signal Performance metrics software
  • Experience with creation of technical documents (i.e. various reports, presentations, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills with all members of the team and clients
  • Ability to multitask on numerous projects
  • Adherence to public safety rules, regulations, precautions, prevention and the protection of people, data and property
  • Adherence to applicable laws, legal codes, government regulations and agency rules
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite required
  • A valid Driver's License required
SALARY RANGE:

$88,000 - $109,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
