Medisolv is seeking a high energy and extremely motivated Healthcare Information Technology Sales Solutions Consultant to support the company's sales efforts. The company is uniquely positioned for rapid growth in quality management and value-based care and is growing the direct sales team to help capitalize on growth potential.

As a Sales Solutions Consultant at Medisolv, you will have the opportunity to play an integral role in the expansion of our business by providing solution expertise to current and prospective clients during the sales process. Key activities include performing solution and platform level demonstrations, leading scripted demonstrations, participating in tradeshows, supporting business development initiatives, assisting with sales proposal development, staying current on solution roadmap new releases and key features, and maintaining the presentation database.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide solution expertise to current and prospective clients during the sales process, working collaboratively with the team of Sales Executives.
  • Conduct solution and platform-level demonstrations, providing product-level expertise and addressing questions from prospective clients and partners.
  • Gain understanding of clients' requirements and assist in building out strategy and value proposition to address clients' need through the company's solutions, capabilities and services.
  • Support marketing team by providing solution videos, photos, and materials for promotional campaigns.
  • Align with internal product management, engineering, and client services teams to stay current on solution roadmaps, new releases and key features, and best practices for implementation and services.
  • Maintain the presentation database and perform regular updates to content/build necessary to deliver thorough demonstrations and support any scripted presentations.
  • Have an understanding of strategic selling and complex sales process.
  • Support the sales team in achieving agreed-upon sales goals.
  • Actively participate in professional trade shows, associations, and other events to generate new business.
  • Engage and build relationships with Medisolv business partners and other organizations.
  • Utilize the company's CRM system for documenting relevant updates.
  • Provide regular feedback from the field regarding competitive intelligence and considerations for platform/solution enhancements.
  • Actively participate as a member of the sales and marketing departments in supporting development of new tools, strategies, plans, etc. for growing top line.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the company's solutions and their unique value proposition for clients.
  • Supporting internal projects or growth-related initiatives, as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree with equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the healthcare information technology industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills of product features and key functionality with attention to detail. Current experience presenting healthcare technology products and solutions to C-level executives and other senior executives within hospitals and health system market or large-scale ambulatory market. Experience can be in professional services/consulting, product management, direct sales, or sales support roles.
  • Working knowledge of quality management, and/or advanced analytics solutions.
  • An independent and resourceful self-starter with highly motivated demeanor.
  • A strong sense of personal accountability to drive business results and exceed expectations.
  • Ability to establish strong team relationships and thrive in a highly collaborative environment.
  • This a remote position with travel to support tradeshows and industry events, with occasional on-site client meetings and internal company meetings. (Ability to travel approximately 25%.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), CRM solutions (HubSpot), video conferencing/presentation solutions (Zoom, Teams, GoToMeeting, etc.).
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer. We are unable to provide sponsorship at this time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of CMS quality reporting regulations and requirements.
  • Healthcare Nursing background or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with HCIT solutions delivered in a hosted or SaaS deployment model, including high-level technical architecture.
  • Familiarity with data science and business intelligence.

This position is open to remote work. Our office is located in Columbia, Maryland.
