Solutions Architect

Key Role:

Lead on a high visibility defense project, you will use your technical background and skills to improve data centricity and overall interoperability for our nation's warfighters. Use your ability to translate senior leader requirements into technical developments, bridging the gap between the technical and tactical communities. Resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast and agile environment. Think of outside the box solutions to help the client achieve strategic impact. Work with an experienced team to bring solution-oriented functions and enhancements to a very dynamic operating environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience operating in a technical role, including with software

  • 2+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications

  • Experience connecting with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop technical architectures in Visio and PowerPoint

  • Experience using Jira for managing software development projects

  • Experience communication complex technical concepts and tasks to non-technical senior leadership

  • Experience operating in an unstructured work environment with minimal oversight

  • Knowledge of Department of Defense terminology and operating procedures

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, or Information Technology field

  • Security+ and Network+ Certifications

Additional Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with GOTS software applications and platforms

  • 2+ years of experience working with COTS software applications and platforms

  • Experience with Java, Python, C#, .NET, or React

  • Ability to work within an Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, or software product CRM

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
