ARServices is seeking a Technical Writer to work in Falls Church, VA area.
A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manages SOP materials in data stores, and monitors for updates.
- Produce and edit complex documents like product analysis, SOPs, and technical support materials under program manager guidance, ensuring adherence to documentation standards.
- Assist in physically tracking production hardware/software inventory, using bar-coding, discrepancy tracking, and managing excess equipment.
- Contribute to the development and review of outgoing communications to various audiences, including support organizations and end-users.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Active Public Trust clearance is required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing/editing with at least 2 years of this experience specifically in technical writing/editing related to data collection, data reduction, and engineering analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with experience in generating test cases and related documentation.
- Must be able to travel to Washington, DC as needed.
