Who we are looking for:

We are currently seeking a Solution Architect (Appian) for a full-time position remotely, supporting Food & Drug Administration (FDA)

We are an organization that is committed to your growth and success in the IT software development industry and looking for a Solution Architect (Appian) who is ready to assume leadership responsibilities in a supportive team environment that is focused on your success as a function of client success.

What your day-to-day will look like / Duties:

• Serves as an Appian Subject Matter Specialist on projects in an area of relevant information technology consulting such as resources and facilities management, database planning and design, systems analysis and design, network services, programming, conversion and implementation support, network services project management, data/records management, or a related field.
• Serves as senior advisor to customer's executive management team on the Appian Platform.
• Key responsibilities include providing advice and expertise in budget system improvements, recommending to-be system architecture, and participating in strategic planning and process improvement methods.

What we would like to see on your resume/ Required Skills:

• Experience of ten or more years in general IT consulting, system/application development, design and implementation, business process reengineering, IT transformation, or other related services.
• Experience in understanding the customer infrastructure and security policies and collaborating with customer and project teams to lead the effort to establish integrations and connectivity with Customer on-prem and cloud applications.
• Good communication

What specifically does this role require:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, computer science, etc.

Salary Range: Various factors are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, education, certifications, and competencies that align with the specified role, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $140,000- $150,000

Location: Horizon is headquartered in the heart of Tyson's Corner, VA. Occasional travel may be required.
