Why do we need you ?

Located in Malvern, the Senior Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for delivering optimal customer service, working capital, and cost levels, for multiple product lines, across multiple manufacturing and distribution locations. The Senior Supply Chain Planner will work closely with Customer Service, Transportation, Product Management, and schedulers in the manufacturing facilities to set master production schedules, manage the transfer of product between facilities, and maintain MRP settings in SAP to meet service and inventory requirements. This senior level planner is responsible for managing production plans for one or more lines of business (LOB) throughout the network that facilitate the monthly PSI and S&OP cycle.

Is this job for you ?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Three years or more of applied professional experience working in supply chain, production planning, or operations planning
  • Experience presenting to and/or leading discussions with large groups, including Vice President and Director level personnel
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, preferably SAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to utilize available tools and systems to effectively balance inventory & customer service in support of business goals
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling the conversion of large data sets into summaries from which conclusions can be drawn
  • Change management and conflict management skills
  • Ability to create processes and tools that are reliable and repeatable, aimed at supporting business goals
  • Ability to work independently and with teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to bring about consensus in areas of conflict

To make sure nothing is forgotten
  • APICS Certification preferred (CPIM or CSCP)
  • Experience with continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, or WCM (world class manufacturing)
  • Experience managing inventories across a multi-site network
