Chevois hiring an experienced CPIC Project Manager to lead a large portfolio of IT investments. This position provides significant client interaction by learning the client's business needs and to become a trusted advisor.Ideal candidates will be capable of managing client delivery teams and have prior understanding and performing work related to Federal Budgeting and Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) program and IT Governance. Is versed in CPIC data, creating solutions for data presentation, creating/maintaining customized forms to meet needs, drafting and maintaining internal branch procedural documentation. This position is hybrid in the metro DC area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides strategic direction and responsible for overall planning, business development, service delivery, and account performance
  • Nurture client relationship and perform business development functions including identifying, qualifying, and presenting opportunities
  • Interfaces with and develops effective working relationships with agency Executives, partners, other contractors
  • Ensures all contracts are completed successfully and performed within cost and schedule
  • Provides oversight to line delivery teams to include managing the careers of delivery staff.
  • Support all phases of the CPIC process (Select, Control, and Evaluate), including investment selection process, change management and closeout activities throughout the investment life cycle
  • Assist with investment prioritization and strategic alignment as well as reporting investment execution status and performance.
  • Develop and maintain a Calendar for annual CPIC activities.
  • Support all CPIC data calls and analytical investment reporting.
  • Support the project staff in developing project investment proposals, business cases, and annual Office of Management and Budget (OMB) IT Portfolio Summary, Business Cases, and Investment Reports.
  • Ensure that the IT Portfolio Summary and Business Cases, budget information, and project management data are consistent across the investment life cycle.
  • Support and facilitate CPIC governance meetings.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years' experience organizing , directing, coordinating the planning amd production of contract/task order support activities and experience managing the client interface at a senior level of the organization
  • 5+ years' experience leading teams and managing staff
  • Experience in providing Program Management services to federal clients
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present a polished and professional image to clients
  • Knowledge of federal budget processes and authorizations
Desired Qualifications:
  • PMI PMP or PgMP certification a plus
  • Ability to interpret policies and standards and translate to audience-appropriate communications (web, briefing slides, etc.).
  • Experience with the Federal Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) process
