This is a remote position.

Primary Responsibilities:

In this role, you will serve as an emerging individual contributor within a team, expanding your leadership, guidance, and mentoring skills. With the support and guidance of leadership, you will be responsible for supporting the goal of meeting scope, schedule, and delivery requirements. You will interact with stakeholders and utilize influential skills to drive improvements in security and compliance processes and practices. Primary expectations of a Senior Security Compliance Manager include:

  • Provide specialized, information technology consulting services to clients to analyze, plan, implement, and review existing or future IT initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of programs and/or implementation of creative and innovative solutions to solve IT Problems from a business process perspective. Researches and analyzes complex requirements.
  • Apply expert knowledge to determine the accuracy and reasonableness of assumptions, identify risk factors, develop mitigation strategies, and assess lessons learned.
  • Development of influential skills to help teams understand and follow security and compliance concepts and methods

  • Exhibits understanding of other roles and practices, including how they are intended to work together

  • Assists with security and compliance tasks with a significant level of feedback and guidance

  • Assists with the implementation and monitoring of security and compliance processes within the program

  • Assists with ATO preparation and execution

  • Researches and learns about practices, laws, and standards to help with implementation

  • Writes formal documentation and builds understanding of complex technical terms

  • Participates in planning sessions to ensure security and compliance requirements are met

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information assurance, cybersecurity, or related field, 7+ years of experience

      • Relevant years of experience may be substituted for education

    • At least 2+ years experience in cybersecurity as a practitioner and/or exposure to various security frameworks

    • CompTIA Sec+ required


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to obtain/maintain: CISSP or CISM

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and responsibility.
