Are you an experienced Records Manager with demonstrated capability working within executive-level DoD multi-level security environments? We have a great opportunity for you! This position is located primarily in Crystal City, VA and at the Pentagon and will support Department of the Navy Special Access Programs Central Office (DONSAPCO).

As a Records Manager, you will:

  • Provide an assessment of all electronic and physical records and submit a Plan of Action and Milestones for Knowledge and Records Management compliance in accordance applicable policies.
  • Formulate and implement a Knowledge Management strategy for handling business management operations.
  • Develop, submit for approval, and maintain Records Management (RM) policy and procedures.
  • Develop, submit for government approval, and maintain a file inventory and structure plan in accordance with DoD/DON/OPNAV/SAP management policies, requirements, and best practices.
  • Manage approximately 500,000 files across four systems (networks) and approximately 70 safes of physical files.
  • Receive a robust benefits package that includes.

A week in a life of a Records Manager:

  • Execute reorganization of documents, files, and records in accordance with government approved file structure plan, on multiple Government systems.
  • Maintain unclassified and classified websites for organizing & sharing information; maintain SharePoint lists, libraries, flows, and forms; establish workflows and approval systems and maintain architecture including adding and removing users from groups.
  • Provide secure web services and document management services with a DoD approved Electronic Records Management Application.
  • Support the development and implementation of a document scanning system, to include requirements management and documentation. Scan physical documents records in accordance with government approved file structure plan onto appropriate network.
  • Support coordination with DON Assistant for Administration Directives and Records Management Division for National Archives and Records Administration approved records schedules.
  • Develop, execute, track, and update Records Management training, documentation, and job aids for office staff; advise/train personnel on file creation, maintenance, use and disposition of office records.
  • Provide service and support for RM, Privacy Act (PA), and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Programs to include coordination and preparation for Inspector General inspections.

Job Requirements
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant Administration Management experience with a bachelor's degree
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is a must.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Possess an analytical mindset with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Adept at briefing executives andprogram IPT level leadership.
  • High Proficiency with MS Office applications

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
