Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a IT Architect with a background in BMC Helix Enterprise Service Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will support the United States Coast Guard (USCG) to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive service management solutions using BMC Helix Enterprise Service Management. This individual will responsible for designing solutions that encompass all aspects of service management including HR, Security, Facilities, Customer Service Management, IT Service Management, Portfolio Management, Business Case Management Solutions, and Talent Management tracking functions.

This role demands a visionary leader who can translate various business requirements into technology solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and exceptional service delivery.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

    Lead the architectural design, development, and deployment of comprehensive service management solutions across multiple domains using BMC Helix Enterprise Service Management.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and challenges, translating them into effective technical solutions.
  • Oversee the integration of service management solutions with existing systems and processes, ensuring seamless operation and user experience.
  • Design and implement customer business case management solutions, portfolio management systems with budget and project management capabilities, talent management systems, and offer letter tracking/on-boarding readiness solutions.
  • Ensure that all solutions are scalable, secure, and comply with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in service management technologies and methodologies, incorporating them into our solutions where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of the architecture and systems designed.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 16 years' experience or Master's degree and 14 years' experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret or Interim Secret clearance.
  • Proven experience as a Chief Architect or in a similar leadership role in designing and implementing enterprise service management solutions.
  • Extensive experience with BMC Helix Enterprise Service Management and its application across various service management domains.
  • Deep experience implementing service management processes and best practices across various domains (HR, Security, Facilities, Customer Service, ITSM).
  • Experience in designing solutions for customer business case management, portfolio management, talent management, and on-boarding processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in BMC Helix and IT Service Management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) are highly desirable.

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
