Could you be the full-time Project Accountant in Baltimore we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your financial project management or operational finance/accounting expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside meticulous and supportive teammates.

You'll drive the financial strategy and integrity of high-critical projects. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (project management, procurement, engineering), optimizing the financial aspects of projects, providing financial analysis and guidance, and much more.

You'll specifically take care of ensuring compliance with local regulations, but also communicating effectively with stakeholders.

We'll look to you for:

  • Leading finances for projects to improve overall performance

  • Collaborating with project teams to provide finance advice and support

  • Raising "Early Warnings" to management

  • Challenging and approving project financials as per DoA

  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations, especially for tax and statutory accounts purposes

  • Communicating with stakeholders to provide reliable financial analysis

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That's why we don't expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we've listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial project management or operational finance/accounting

  • Availability to be 100% on site

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English, with additional languages being a plus

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with SAP

  • Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Things you'll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey - the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You'll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative projects

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning

  • Progress towards senior financial roles

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognizes your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage.

You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you'll be proud. If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
