What you will do

Manage the end-to-end lifecycle and business results of a global chiller product line! Grow product revenue and profit margin by leading development and launch of new products and sales tools and manage the financial health of the product line by controlling costs, quality, supply chains and manufacturing sources! Do new product introductions and enhancing sustaining products excite you? Join us as a Senior Air-Cooled Product Manager, where you can make an impact on our customers and our business. This is a hybrid position located in New Freedom, PA near the Baltimore/Washington, Philadelphia metro areas.

How you will do it

  • Develop key relationships with regional business and sales channel partners and customers, gather VOC and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

  • Apply strategic thinking to develop and manage product road maps and business plans.

  • Perform competitive benchmarking to provide input into product road maps. Prioritize projects and initiatives to develop the roadmap and strategic business plan.

  • Lead the completion of key projects/programs to launch new products to global markets.

  • Perform comprehensive analysis on product performance, cost, pricing and features. Understand and support the implementation of product pricing strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Build a strong understanding of the product requirements, regulations and value propositions for the markets and industrial segments in which the products are sold.

What you will need
Required

  • Bachelor's degree required in business, marketing, or engineering.

  • 5 years' experience, 2-3 years of product/service/offering management experience.

  • Demonstrate ability to deliver results in a business that manufactures and sells complex, custom-engineered HVAC, heavy-machinery or industrial equipment products.

  • Possess a high-level of understanding how chillers and HVAC systems operate and their cost and performance is optimized.

  • Experience with how to work well with and provide direction and leadership to highly-educated engineering teams.

  • Experience with how to work well with Sales and business leadership: present analysis of product performance, cost, pricing, competitive benchmarking, and market trends to influence strategic business decisions.

  • Strong experience using software tools to analyze large amounts of data and create reports.

Preferred

  • Several years of experience in a role in HVAC / chiller product development, engineering, product management, marketing.

  • Demonstrate a high-level of understanding of current market trends in the HVAC industry.

  • Several years of experience with interfacing with customers, gathering voice of customer and managing complex customer issues.

  • Strong understanding of business processes, capital expenditures, financial budgeting and key financial indicators (i.e., .ROI, IRR, NPV).

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally a few times a year for 1-2 weeks at a time.

  • MBA or other graduate-level degree preferred
