JOB DESCRIPTION:

Commvault seeks a driven, highly motivated SaaS Team Lead to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible as an individual quota-carrying sales rep, and for building and managing a world-class SaaS Sales team of five to six team members to support monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. The primary focus of the individual player role, as well as the management team, is on net new, acquisition, and share of wallet expansion across North America for the SaaS solutions.

The individual will also be responsible for developing the skillset of their team to prepare them for field readiness.The leader will work with his/her team on pipeline development, competitive positioning, channel and alliance engagement, and opportunity execution. He/she will also be responsible for engaging with all parts of the Commvault organizations, including field marketing, sales engineering, digital marketing, and customer success, to ensure the achievement of ACV objectives.

How you will Make Your Mark at Commvault:

  • Leverage demand generation tools to develop, advance, and close new incoming leads

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day revenue-generating activity of the inside sales team and ensuring processes are in place to attain revenue targets

  • Regularly monitor and coach representatives to ensure excellence in selling skills, out-bound practices, and customer satisfaction

  • Ensure customer interactions and opportunities are tracked through SFDC; regularly produce activity reports

  • Supervise team per company policies and procedures

  • Coach Inside Sales representatives to develop unique, relevant and compelling business propositions in support of prospecting for new business and competitive displacement; promote ongoing training and education

  • Prepare Inside Sales representatives to excel in their abilities and prepare for field readiness

  • Talent management including recruiting, coaching and developing sales team members

  • Accurate forecast and pipeline management

  • Understand how to negotiate pricing agreements, maximizing the ACV value

  • Point person for special projects, campaigns, reports, trainings, etc.

Experience Needed:

*** On site in our Fort Lauderdale office four days a week***

  • 0-2 years managing a team in a relevant industry or relevant experience

  • Proficient in Salesforce.com and or/ similar CRM tool

  • Experience exceeding in a direct quota owning selling role

  • Preferred expertise in the storage, data center and/or backup software space

  • Be inquisitive, always be learning about our industry, trends and competition

  • Preferred software sales experience with perpetual, subscription and SaaS consumption models

  • Strong process orientation for driving field engagement, pipeline generation and opportunity execution.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • BA/ BS preferred

$80,200.00 - $120,400.00
