Position Summary:
The IP Litigation Project Assistant provides administrative support to the attorneys and paralegals within the IP Litigation practice group. This position prepares and organizes case documents and assists with the setup and preparation for trials. The Project Assistant works under direct supervision and relies on instructions and pre-existing guidelines to perform the essential functions of the job.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Organize and index case files and documents
* Prepare documents, letters, forms, presentations, charts and spreadsheets, for attorney review
* File documents with government agencies and courts
* Assist with research requests; coordinate with the library if additional assistance is needed
* Coordinate with local office services for large copy and binder creation requests
* Assist with trial preparation including assembling evidence notebooks with deposition summaries and key pleadings, setting up war rooms and trial workspaces, updating trial exhibits and lists, filing case documents, and attending trials
* Collaborate with the library to obtain expert background materials
* Assist associates with the preparation of timelines and indices to organize and manage fact development for cases
* Aid in editing and checking legal citations to comply with the Bluebook provisions for the legal citation and vendor invoice processing

Job Specifications:
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
* Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
* Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly

Expected Pay Range in Los Angeles $57,000 - $76,000
Expected Pay Range in Orange County $54,000 - $73,000
Expected Pay Range in New York, San Francisco & Silicon Valley $59,000 - $80,000

Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
