Job Description

Fibertek is a leading developer of laser and electro-optic systems for the aerospace community, with key contributions to lasers for atmospheric sensing, laser communications, and lidar sensors for NASA, DoD, and commercial customers. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Army Research Laboratory (ARL) division onsite in Adelphi, MD. As the Office Coordinator you will:

  • Provide coordination, management and management of all facets of administrative support applying relevant polices and regulations for Executive Staff Members.
  • Provide assistance, counsel, advice and guidance to all of the senior leadership within the Executive Office on a wide variety of sensitive, critical, high-profile, time-sensitive issues.
  • Provide calendar/meeting management and coordination for Executive Office senior leadership.
Job Requirements

Experience and expertise required:

  • Minimum of AA in Business or related fields.
  • Prefer a minimum of five years relevant experience.
  • Military experience with Senior Leaders preferred.
  • Knowledge of appropriate Army senior leader protocols, principles, methods, and business practices.
  • Proficient in applicable organizational Army and governmental (e.g., ARL, DEVCOM, AFC, DA, DoD, and Federal Government) regulations, policies, and procedures related to planning, coordinating, and hosting official senior leader visits and events.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability and willingness to work on-site no less than 3-days per week
  • Attention to detail and documentation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, self-starter, punctual, and good attendance record with the desire to develop professionally.
