Peraton seeks a talented Integration Systems Engineer (ISE) Support Systems Engineer to join our esteemed Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting one of the most expansive enterprise-wide Engineering contracts within the esteemed Intelligence Community. This part-time role entails 1128 hours of dedicated support per year, with work conducted on-site at the customer's premises.
In your capacity as an ISE Support Systems Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the customer's ISE, engaging in a spectrum of tasks that demand a robust systems engineering background, fortified by architectural prowess and adept senior staff-level communication skills.
Your key responsibilities encompass an array of essential functions, including the development, documentation, and analysis of operational and system architectures, anchored in the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) and facilitated by the Cameo tool. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing indispensable support to the ISE, tackling multifaceted tasks that involve orchestrating and integrating myriad programs, organizations, capabilities, products, and services to realize desired outcomes.
Moreover, you will shoulder the responsibility of mentoring and guiding junior systems engineers, as designated. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating the transition of capabilities while also overseeing the decommissioning of obsolete systems-a task of paramount importance. This will entail leveraging existing architectures or meticulously documenting missing architectures to gain a comprehensive understanding of current systems and interfaces, thereby ensuring a seamless transition process.
Your role will also encompass capturing new architectures in Cameo as necessary to reflect the revised as-is architecture, ensuring alignment with evolving requirements. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining integrated master schedules, thus contributing significantly to the overall project management framework.
