Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate technical activities related to the deployment of new systems and technologies;
  • Provide statistical reports, recommendations, and product deployment plans to management;
  • Develop test strategies for devices and systems;
  • Perform stress and performance tests on a variety of information technology hardware, including circuit board, processors, wiring peripherals and software components;
  • Inspect equipment and prepare equipment for delivery;
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing a bad component;
  • Perform minor system hardware diagnostics and advises on system support software problems;
  • Load specific software packages, such as operating systems, hardware drivers and custom application software on computers;
  • Replace defective or inadequate software packages;
  • Provide quality assurance (QA) and ensure compliance with technical specifications and performance requirements incorporated or referenced for hardware, software, maintenance, and documentation delivered through the DMDC contract.

Job Requirements
  • High School plus advanced training, and 4 - 5 yrs of experience.
  • Must have a certificate or be in the process of obtaining a certification for A+ and Security+ or equivalent from an accredited institution;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with installation and support of Windows operating systems.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to mission critical activities as they relate to customer needs;
  • Technical problem solving required;
  • Valid driver's license required;
  • The successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation, must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, must be a U.S. citizen, and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
