Valiant is seeking an individual to provide electrical engineering support as a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Component Library Engineer for a USG customer in the Northern Virginia area. The support activities below are representative of the tasks the individual shall perform:

  • Serve as the focal point for PCB Design for manufacturing expertise.
  • Serve as a point-of-contact (POC) for all additions to, or subtractions from, the electrical computer aided design (ECAD) Library.
  • Verify all parts created by Sponsor's Engineers are correct, complete, and in compliance with IPC standards and Sponsor preferences.
  • Train Sponsor engineers on the proper use of PM tools for the creation of ECAD parts, to include symbols and decals.
  • Develop complete internal training materials to aid engineering users in PCB design and manufacture.
  • Develop procedures to facilitate the manufacture of PCBs through external Vendors.
  • Assist the PCB Fabrication Expert with assigned duties.
  • Assist users with proper use and maintenance of PCB fabrication equipment.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation and internal design standards.
  • Receipt and disposal of HAZMAT and HAZWASTE according to Sponsor's requirements.
  • Ad-hoc requirements may be associated with Sponsor/Mission Partners equipment/supplies/products in order to report and maintain operational readiness status.

  • A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
  • CONUS and OCONUS TDY travel may be required.
