Valiant is seeking an Infrastructure and Installation Support Specialist for a USG Customer in the Northern Virginia area.

The tasks below are representative of the support required.

Responsible for all infrastructure and assist in the installation of racks, patch panels, routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and other equipment to include but not limited to:

• Perform site surveys.
• Pulling, terminating, testing, and labeling all Fiber and CAT-6 cable.
• Recommendation of supplies and materials.
• Reviewing security requirements for the systems to ensure proper materials are purchased and supported.
• Cable management, wiring diagrams, and rack configurations.
• Server hardware installation and configuration.
• Deployment and management of applications.
• Capacity planning (storage) and management of storage.
• Provide upgrades to environment (hardware and software).
• Support all OCONUS installations and recap efforts of Sponsor Mission Networks.
• Installation and configuration of all peripheral desktop equipment (workstations/monitors/switchboxes) and printers along with all associated cabling.
• Create or update documentation related to implementation activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

• A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• CONUS and OCONUS TDY travel may be required.
