GOVERNMENT AND REGULATORY RISK MANAGER

This role is responsible for assisting the Government & Regulatory Risk Director to provide oversight, maintenance, and compliance over programs and initiatives involving anti-corruption, sanction, AML, and other regulatory compliance; lobbying activity, public sector contracting, and other similar applicable policy monitoring and enforcement. This individual will be outstanding at organization and keeping multiple work streams moving forward. This individual will have technical knowledge of regulatory subject matter through both education and experience on such matter. This person will have experience supervising and mentoring staff as well as being accountable for their workload and the workload of their staff. This person has to be comfortable learning new skills, relying on their teammates and being relied upon by their teammates, and be self-motivated. The group thrives by having a positive and supportive attitude and the candidate must have this disposition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Intaking and conducting initial analysis/research on potential new lobbying or advocacy activities in the US and Canada.
  • Maintaining SharePoint site documenting lobbying, political contributions, and other regulatory filings.
  • Gain functional knowledge in order to provide assistance to the federal practice with federal FAR/GSA filings, assisting with and filing state lobbying registrations, political contribution filings, and responding to RFP and vendor responsibility questionnaire queries around government relations topics and concerns.
  • Intaking and directing public sector contracting questions, assisting the field and CQRM with FAR flow-downs and other state and federal contracting terms.
  • Support the maintenance of Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption Program monitoring and oversight activities. Assist with the creation and maintenance of other government relations policies, as well as subsequent monitoring and training.
  • Monitor the sanctioned entity screening program, investigating, and recording any "false positive" hits and escalating more complicated results to the Government & Regulatory Risk Director as necessary.
  • Manage workflow of items assigned and those assigned to staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • paralegal or JD preferred.

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

  • Ability to navigate SharePoint, MS Suite required.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous compliance/regulatory experience required.
  • Experience with government relations preferred.

Compensation Range: $107,900 - $184,800

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
