Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) engineer for the Space and Intelligence System LOB, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development of FPGAs for advanced communication systems.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

  • Definition, design, verification, and documentation for FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) developments
  • Experience with Zynq processors using Petalinux, Yocto, or Buildroot
  • Experience using Git for version control
  • Experience with CI/CD flows for FPGA
  • Experience interfacing to external memory interfaces like: DRAM / SRAM
  • Experience using Multi-Gigabit Transceivers (MGTs): GTX/GTH/GTY/GTZ/etc...
  • Familiarity with bus protocols such as 1G/10G/40G/100+G Ethernet, Interlaken, Aurora/SerialLite II, RS-232, SPI, I2C, and CAN
  • Understanding of static timing analysis, timing closure and floor planning techniques
  • Implementation of telecommunication protocols and sophisticated processing algorithms
  • Embedded micro-processing systems, FPGA Design and Verification using VHDL, and digital circuit analysis and design
  • Implementation of HDL for systems-on-a-chip for FPGAs with or without microcontrollers
  • Languages: VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, TCL, C, C++, Java, Python or similar

Target salary range: USD $122,690.40/Yr. - USD $136,109.60/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
