The Ninth Grade House Coordinator works directly with freshman students and staff to ensure student success. The coordinator leads and supports teachers and students successfully allowing for a successful transition from middle school to high school and from high school to college. The coordinator will assist in measuring student needs to assure those struggling receive the help they need such as additional tutoring, counseling, or additional support services. The coordinator is responsible to leading the City School's process and procedures for On Track to Graduate by the End of Grade 9. The coordinator will work with administration, staff, teachers, students, and parents to implement and support current best practices in teaching and learning as they are related to each program and school wide implementation. Performs additional job-related duties as assigned. This position cannot be assigned classes, class coverage, or duties not related to supporting the success of the Ninth Grade House team and students.
