CTC is looking for talented Data Scientist who is excited manipulating large amounts of structured and unstructured complex datasets into useful information to solve critical intelligence community (IC) problems. You'll write scripts to integrate data, conduct exploratory data analysis to discover hidden patterns, apply machine learning to train predictive models, and use the right combination of tools to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help mission partners make informed decisions. You'll provide the customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can best use it.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and support geospatial software applications.
• Automate, review, and labeling of overhead imagery.
• Help develop and employ machine learning algorithms in Pytorch.
• Work with natural language processing models and principles on very large data sets.
• Mentor teammates in applying data algorithms.
• Report finding to client and IC community.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in the Mathematics, the Physical Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 6-8 years of related experience, or a Master of Science degree with 4-6 years of experience, or a PhD with 2-4 years of experience.
• Proficiency with machine learning running Pytorch, CNNs, RNNs, Tensor Net, etc.
• Familiar with natural language processing models and associated principles.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills are a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in operationalizing artificial intelligence and machine learning at client locations
• Experience in software development, including Agile process model
• Experience in data visualization/dashboard tool, and presenting data through reports
• Experience with data lakes and unstructured data
• Experience with designing and implementing machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms in an academic or professional environment
• Knowledge of commercial Cloud services used by the IC
