Our doors opened 70 years ago, and since then Hearn Kirkwood has been dedicated to providing our customers with the freshest produce available, with customer service that isn't duplicated anywhere.

What began as a storefront in downtown Baltimore has grown to a 110,000 square foot facility, including a 70,000 sq. ft. state of the art production area, that delivers perishable products ranging from tomatoes to fresh milk. Our customers are located throughout Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and Philadelphia, PA.

Hearn Kirkwood has grown to offer a complete line of perishable products to include meat, seafood, poultry as well as dairy items. Our in-house USDA kitchen, Food Unlimited, processes and prepares a variety of different perishables including sandwiches, wraps and salads that arrive at your door fresh and ready to serve or sell to your customers.

Additionally, we co-founded a produce buying co-op, Pro*Act, that allows members to pool their purchasing power and give clients a consistent source and steady pricing. This in turn, results in a better product and price for our customers.
