Responsibilities

The Enterprise Configuration Manager role will be based in the DC/Metro region and tele-work may be available.  Selected candidate must be able to support occasional travel as necessary. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure standardized methods, proper controls, and procedures are used for the efficient and prompt handling of IT infrastructure changes.
  • Develop ways to minimize the number and impact of incidents across business services.
  • Internally or externally imposed requirements (e.g., legislative changes, proactive attempts to improve business services efficiency and effectiveness, and security-related changes) may result in planned and unplanned changes.
  • Follow the ITIL framework of Problem, incident, and change management to ensure desired outcomes, efficiencies, and successful solution implementation(s).
  • Prepare, document, and maintain standard configurations (including hardware, OS, and software) for core devices and infrastructure, including network, servers, virtual servers, workstations, desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, mobile devices, and Cloud solutions.
  • Ensure all devices connected to the enterprise network adhere to the common baseline standard (i.e., the latest version of the browser is installed on all systems).

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 14 years’ experience required. An additional 4 years of related technical work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum on an active Secret security clearance is required.
  • Agile, ITIL, Service Now or equivalent certification required.
  • Experience developing, implementing, managing change management process.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Configuration Management Plan.
  • Experience with Configuration Management Board, Technical Review Board (TRB), Configuration Control Board (CCB), Engineering Review Board (ERB), and Architectural Review Board (ARB).
  • Experience managing large teams and working with government senior level and/or executive level leadership.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
