The Sr. Manager, Product Innovation will help lead select innovation design projects as a part of Deluxe's Product Innovation organization and role model the customer-centered product capability that we're building.They will work with other product managers as well as strategy, marketing, and technology leaders, and other groups throughout the organization to bring innovative solutions and products to market.
Co-lead innovation design projects in partnership with Deluxe Product Managers and UX to accelerate BU and company priorities using a human-centered design process to define/refine product strategies and reinvent products and experiences
Help in the development of a holistic Deluxe-wide product strategy and roadmap, by working in close collaboration with product managers and leaders across the Business Units
Help establish consistent and best in class product management capabilities across Deluxe, including Product Strategy/Roadmap, Process, Portfolio and Metrics, and Tools
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Innovation
Proven experience in product management and innovation methodologies, especially Design Thinking
Experience with primary customer research, time "in the field", market research, and translation of insights uncovered into ideas, concepts, and products.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Business, Marketing or related field
5 + years of experience in Product Management or Product Innovation
5+ years of financial services industry experience
Excellent facilitative leadership skills to work collaboratively cross-functionality to lead and influence employees that are indirect superiors, peers, and/or junior to their role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding collaborator across team boundaries
Experience working within an innovation team or enterprise product team for a larger company
