Job Description

DSA is seeking a highly qualified Cybersecurity Team Lead to join our team at Fort Detrick, MD.
This is a hybrid position allowing flexibility for 3 days onsite and 2 days a week telework. This position has a great work environment, training opportunities and an important mission.
The Team Lead will support the cybersecurity posture for DoD Organizational Messaging. Secure components to meet DoD cybersecurity requirements. Maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) for the site. Maintain DoD RMF evidence for the site accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a cybersecurity team that focuses on all aspects of DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Guide the periodic re-accreditation efforts to maintain an ATO.

Required Qualifications
  • Current Top-Secret clearance and be able to obtain SCI clearance (SCI or SSBI preferred)
  • Hold an IAT II qualified certification (example Security+)
  • Experience with DISA's Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Experience with CYBERCOM's Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) notices.
  • Experience with DISA's Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
  • Experience with DoD's Endpoint Security System (ESS) (formerly HBSS).
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in Cybersecurity.
  • RMF experience


Education: Master of Arts/Master of Science (MA/MS) degree in an Information Technology or Computer Science discipline. An additional six years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.

Certification: Security+ or CGRC/CAP or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or SSCP or GSEC or CISSP or CISM or CISSO or FITSP-M or GCIA or GCSA or GCIH or GSLC or GICSP or CISSP-ISSMP
