Management Analyst (Logistics Management SME)
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • 3+ years of experience with logistics management, supplies, and equipment.
  • Secret Clearance
  • Preferred extensive knowledge and use of the following systems:
    • LogiCole
    • Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS)
Duties:
  • Composes correspondence and prepares study reports identifying decisions, recommendations, and policy actions initiated to accomplish logistics objectives.
  • Represents the MRC, G-4 staff level function at conferences and meetings.
  • Assists in the development/review, analysis OPORD/TASKERs published by higher chain of command and draft internal OPORD/TASKERs to distribute within the MRC. Work with G-3 to track status of open OPORD/TASKERs and work with each Unit POCs to meet the Suspense.
  • Briefs project efforts during internal LOGSYNC meetings in support of readiness requirements.
  • Consolidates, updates and reports GSA fleet data to organizational stakeholders including coordination with direct report units (DRUs) for fleet data management requirements.
  • Assists in managing, consolidating, and reporting GSA fleet data to organizational stakeholders including coordination with direct report units (DRUs) for fleet data requirements.
  • Reviews, records, or compiles information related to vehicle assignment and use, income, mileage reports, preventive maintenance services, accidents, billing office address code (BOAC) accounts, or other program data.
  • Develops and maintains accident case files, as required.
  • Supports the development of rental rates to cover operating costs; conducting or assisting in inspections or investigations of assigned vehicles; and ensuring optimum vehicle availability and use by rotating or reassigning vehicles between sections/units/ centers.
  • Uses the FAST web-based reporting tool to consolidate data which conveys annual agency motor vehicle fleet inventory, cost, fuel consumption, and use data.
  • Maintains accountability and support/complete annual reporting requirement(s) of fleet management across Government.
  • Assists with management and billing research using the GSA Vendor and Customer Self Service (VCSS) process, as needed.
  • Consolidates reporting requirements in support of the VAM/VURB process including coordination with direct report units (DRUs) for fleet data requirements.
  • Utilizes the VAM/VURB process to develop the optimum non-tactical fleet (NTV), both size and composition, to meet NTV support requirements, including base support operations, administrative and mission support.
  • Conducts analysis, review, stakeholder engagement and fleet troubleshooting.
  • Prepares and issues paperwork to initiate, document, or complete transportation actions. responding to customer issues, complaints or problems involving administrative fleet issues, delays, loss and/or damage.
  • Reconciles supporting documents to aid in certification of bills related to transportation actions.
  • Analyzes, reviews, and prepares reports or correcting computerized error listings; and conducts performance reviews and quality inspections of services provided.
