About the Position

Dexis seeks an experienced Project Manager to propose for a Department of Labor (DOL) opportunity within the Office of Apprenticeship (OA). The Project Manager will provide overall project management, and maintain regular communication with the OA staff, to ensure timely and quality completion of all project deliverables.

This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in an in-person kickoff meeting in Washington, DC.
  • Develop, maintain, and submit a 1) EEO Work Plan and 2) DEIA Work Plan. Work plan shall consist of work to be completed during the period of performance, and to be maintained, updated, and submitted monthly throughout the period of performance.
  • Utilize Salesforce to create project campaigns and track work products created and in progress.
  • Develop and submit a project status report. Status report must be maintained, updated, and submitted on a monthly basis.
  • Participate, coordinate, and document in-person and/or virtual meetings (ad-hoc, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) with Employment and Training Administration (ETA) and other stakeholders regarding project Work Plan, project status, and progress on project deliverables.
  • Ensure ETA/OA approval is obtained on project deliverables and final projects planned for dissemination.
  • Manage delivery of work including financials, staffing, and project schedule, per the Work Plan Statement.
  • Preparing meeting materials in a format to be described by OA.
  • Coordinate, present, and document quarterly report-out on the status of OA's effort to advance equity in RA.
  • Develop a bi-annual report, detailing activities, accomplishments, challenges, promising practices, and any recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • Ability to provide oversight and direction to a team of staff.
  • Experience interpreting contracts and work requirements while ensuring responsiveness (this may include subject matter or specific technical knowledge).
  • Ability to write, edit, proofread Technical Assistance (TA) products while ensuring final products meet certain content standard.
  • Ability to assist in analysis, evaluation, and implementation of projects/goals.
  • Experience establishing schedules, meeting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of projects (including budgets).
  • Experience preparing reports for upper management regarding status of projects.
