Job Summary:

Key member of the Market Access team providing analytics and reporting to inform access strategy and contracting decisions to support the goal of obtaining profitable for products across Supernus portfolio.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The Manager for Managed Care Analytics will be responsible for performing analytics and reporting to develop the access and contracting strategy for Supernus products.
  • Lead to develop copay assistance strategies for Supernus products and measure/optimize program performance.
  • Examples of analytics projects would include deal/no deal financial modeling, tracking the impact of positive or negative formulary changes on product volume, and other ad hoc analyses.
  • Responsibilities also include creation and management of reports tracking Market Access performance to identify potential opportunities or threats.
  • Go-to expert on Market Access data sources and reports for internal and field account team.
  • The role will require an analytical mindset and ability to turn data and financial modeling into actionable insights.
  • Will need to be able to concisely and effectively communicate insights to Market Access and commercial leadership team to inform key decisions.

Knowledge & Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • 5+ years Commercial Pharmaceutical or analytics experience.
  • Market access experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with IQVIA IMS Plantrak data, DRG Fingertip Formulary, or MMIT formulary data preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with more advanced data manipulation or stat tools is a positive (e.g. SQL, SAS, R, Python)
  • Ability to create financial models and reports.
  • Ability to communicate insights verbally or in writing concisely to management team

  • Authorized to legally work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carrying objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic device; and extensive reading.
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately.
  • Travel: Potentially Two to Three times a year for meetings.
