About This Role:

Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC)a wholly owned subsidiary of Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a talentedaReact Web Developer.This position is a part of the SharePoint application team that supports the VHA client on the Innovation Cell Maintenance contract with the Veteran Health Affairs (VHA), Institute of Leadership and Development (ILEAD).

The SharePoint team supports the development and continuous improvement of VHA ILEAD processes and workflows and provides internal support to the organization including, but not limited to, SharePoint web application development and support, web content management, standardization, and management of document repositories. SharePoint web application are primarily React.js web applications. We are seeking a dedicated React.js front-end developer to help meet our clients' growing needs. You will work as part of a team to design and develop high-quality software solutions for web applications using React.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing React systems, including fixing bugs
  • Design and develop new custom components to meet project requirements
  • Maintain and update project dependencies as well as fix any conflicts
  • Working with other JavaScript developers and software engineers to develop front-end and back-end architecture that's well structured and flexible, along with the APIs to support it
  • Develop highly customized SharePoint site and SharePoint web applications to meet client needs and expectations
  • Develop pages, sites, site collections, custom web parts, Power Apps, Power Automate, and workflows
  • Research, analyze, and recommend solutions to meet current and future business needs
  • Ensure use of software solution by other developers through communication and documentation
  • Troubleshoot issues encountered by end users
  • Research and Develop initiatives to ensure Portal team utilizes the proper technologies to meet client current, future, and potential needs
  • Utilize enterprise application SharePoint REST services and JavaScript Object Model to create a custom software solution
  • Setup and configure SharePoint Online environment
  • Integrate the Brightcove media delivery solution into the Portal, the VHA ILEAD internet/intranet portal, and the VA Video Center internet portal
  • Collaborate with VA subject matter experts on additional requirements
  • Develop the front-end, back-end, and databases required for projects
  • Audit existing business practices to implement industry best practices
  • Utilize SharePoint Designer to code in the SharePoint environment in AJAX, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, XML, SQL, PHP, .NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C, C#.

The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be able to prioritize their tasking, communicate effectively and meet deadlines
  • Experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, InfoPath, and Teams
  • Must be able to simultaneously work on multiple projects, be action oriented, handle changing priorities with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Experience (Front-End Web Development and Server Programming) with strong experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, C#, ReST Web Services, and SharePoint
  • U.S. Citizenship is required. Selected candidate must be able to successfully pass a thorough Government background investigation
  • Knowledge of React and common tools used in the wider React ecosystem, such as Node.js and npm
  • Familiarity with common programming tools such as Redux, IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools
  • An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle

4 to 6 years of experience in SharePoint development
