Overview:

IntelliBridge is an award-winning national security company looking for a Senior Photography and Video Producer to support our contract with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). The Office of Public Affairs and Strategic Communications (PASC) coordinates within the bureau, with other bureaus throughout the Department, the White House, other U.S. Government agencies, and grantee and implementing partner organizations to coordinate public affairs and strategic communications for both domestic and international audiences. It has oversight of a myriad of outreach efforts, which may include ECA bureau-wide strategy, speaking engagements, media, social media, video, photography, branding and websites, and coordinates with all ECA offices to liaise with stakeholder audiences and manage internal and external outreach.

ECA designs and implements educational, professional, and cultural exchange and other programs that create and sustain the mutual understanding with other countries necessary to advancing United States foreign policy goals. Responsibilities/Duties:

At the direction of the PASC Director and Digital Content Chief, and in coordination with the COR, the contractor shall perform the following typical tasks related to supporting ECA's videography and photography projects:

  • Provide on-site support for both workday and after-hours photography and videography for an average of seven events per week. This will be done utilizing professional digital photography/videography equipment and current techniques.
  • Provide virtual recording and editing support for direct-to-camera filming and remote interviews as needed.
  • Provide professional photo and video editing in accordance with assigned service requests. Most photo editing will require a same-day turnaround for posting to the bureau's online photo-sharing platform and for sharing on social media. Video editing may require same-day or next-day delivery after important events and initiatives.
  • Design custom videos and craft educational stories and messaging through crowdsourced videos, event recaps, promo videos, social media videos, live video, animated gifs, documentary, and direct addresses in accordance with assigned service requests.
  • Create a "Working with PASC" Video Process Guides and Tips for helping program offices tell their story and effectively communicate messages.
  • Create a Photography Best Practices and Tips virtual and in-person training module, plus a one-page guide, for use by program offices and staff assistants. Conduct virtual or in-person trainings as directed by government manager. Update trainings as directed by government manager.
  • Outline, script, and produce video packages in coordination with program offices and COR/government managers.
  • Interview subjects for video packages that range from students to high-profile government officials and celebrities.
  • Edit in various styles and formats. Provide expert guidance and creative ideas for professional quality videos and photos for the bureau.
  • Ensure videos are captioned and 508 compliant
  • Ensure a positive and measurable customer experience (CX) when working with all clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years professional experience in video production
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on creative arts
  • Highly skilled in: Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere or other professional video editing software; Adobe Creative Suite, Canon DSLR photography, script and video plan development, Microsoft Office, and G-Suite
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to provide effective advice, counsel and coaching on video and photo to senior leaders as well as peers.
