Overview

Acquisition Analyst II

Locaton: Ft. Belvoir, VA

Clearance: Active Secret

The Acquisition Analyst II will support PEO Soldier design, develop, procure, field, and sustain support for virtually everything the Soldier wears or carries.

Responsibilities

* Assists in acquisition management across an entire product line

* Coordinates products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases

* Assists with preparation and staffing all Milestone documentation -

* Assists with determining contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents, and coordinates activities with Army Contracting Command

* Participates in product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations

* Assists in providing contract oversight for assigned products

* Assists in preparation and management of the program budget and master schedule

* Assist with preparation of Supply Requests Packages to Defense Logistics Agency and manage transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment

* Assist with Development and drafting of Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans and other acquisition documents

* Performs financial and status reporting and basic logistics activities

* Assists in acquisition planning and assesses cost, schedule and performance risk

Qualifications

Required:

* BA/BS and 4 years of experience

* Acquisition career specialization aligned to duty assignment (i.e. Program Management, Contracting, Logistics) Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Level I certification in acquisition career field, OR Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification

* Familiarity with: Product Life Cycle Management Project Team Management Acquisition and Contracting documents (to include J&A, Source Selection Plans, PWS, IGCE, D&F), WAWF, iRAPT, cost analysis, Project Management, database management, GFEBS, DODI 5000.02, Defense Acquisition System JCIDS

Preferred:

* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification is highly desirable.

* Knowledge of DOD, Army, and ASA(ALT) directives and regulations governing Cybersecurity.
