As Asset Management Technician, you'll be responsible for providing asset management and Tier 1 support to over 800 high profile Department of State executives around the world. What you'll do:

  • You'll manage and organize assets to ensure inventory for workstations, laptops cabling, and other equipment is available.
  • You'll support the annual inventory process, which involves data entry, transferring items, deposing Items, and bar code scanning
  • You'll install workstations, thin clients, and printers in customer locations. This includes troubleshooting issues with the setup and installation of these devices.
  • You'll work with other Service Desk Technicians to response to on demand requests for Tier 1 support.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • You are available to provide 100% onsite support in downtown Washington DC.
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory, OUs and Workstations
  • Experience responding to on demand requests for Tier 1 support
  • 2 years of experience in an asset management position
  • Experience configuring and installing network printers, local printers, workstations, thin clients, and laptops for use on various classifications of networks
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience working with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and ServiceNow
  • Understanding of Change Management processes and controls
