Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for IT Help Desk Analysts to support NAVSEA’s Chief Information Office at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC! We are seeking candidates to provide the US Navy with excellent technology customer service support. You will provide direct technology support to the Navy’s CIO Office.
You will apply knowledge of computer science principles, information management principles, automated data processing functions, information technology engineering, hardware and software systems' structures and operation, and computer programming languages and techniques to solve problems. Some tasks include analysis of systems, programs, and/or planning activities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance
Minimum three years of IT Helpdesk experience
Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills for both technical and business-related matters. Strong communication skills
Knowledge of DoD/Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
Knowledge of NAVSEA / Navy organization, stakeholders, and policies
Experience supporting the US Navy or active-duty Navy experience is strongly preferred
Security + Certification required
Bachelor’s degree in a technology field preferred
