**ISI is seeking talented and experienced Mig, Tig, and Stick welders for our Pipe Fabrication Shop.**

This position is responsible for welding and fabricating pipe and tube (stainless and carbon steel).
A successful candidate must have the ability to accurately weld and fabricate, from blueprints, pipe and tubing, as well as miscellaneous items such as, framework, skids, steps, and hand rails (many of these welds are out of position).

Please note, during our busy times you will be required to work overtime, 50+ hours per week.

All employees work as part of the team helping in other areas as needed, such as fit/tack, helping to fabricate items with other teammates, Material Handling, etc.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to complete the essential functions of this position: stand, walk, climb, crouch, stoop, kneel and bend, have manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work, and be able to see details at close range
• Occasionally exerting up to 60 pounds of force and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Operating tools, performing mechanical or skilled trade tasks
• The position is subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes

Qualifications

• High School degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience welding components that are vertical, flat, or overhead
• Pass a weld/fabrication test
• Must have own tools
• Ability to read and fabricate from blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to travel a plus / possible day trips for onsite repairs or installs
