General Responsibilities | The Division of Liberal Studies at Howard Community College is seeking applicants for a full-time position in the discipline of Early Childhood Development/Teacher Education. This is a full-time, 10-month position in which the faculty member will be expected to teach day, evening, and online courses in the area of Early Childhood Development and Teacher Education, as well as fulfill a variety of college responsibilities including learning outcomes assessment; curriculum and program development; adjunct hiring and supervision; and service on college committees and advisory boards. This position also manages and supervises the early childhood practicum required for the certificate and Associate of Applied Science degree. |

Working Conditions | Faculty are required to teach at the times and in the modalities that are assigned to them based on student enrollment and departmental need. Employees that possess a bachelor's degree and hold professional positions that require a bachelor's degree may choose to participate in either The Pension or The ORP. |
