McCallie Associates, Inc. is the prime contractor for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's Systems Engineering Advanced Services (SEAS) II contract. McCallie has an immediate need for various engineering and technician resources supporting Goddard's and Wallops' Flight Facility (WFF) missions.
McCallie will provide support to Goddard's Mission Systems Engineering (MSE) and Payload and Instrument Systems Engineering (ISE) services as well as guidance, navigation, and control systems services, which includes Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C) systems engineering and Attitude Control Systems (ACS) engineering, analysis and related algorithm/software development. Provide Spacecraft Propulsion and fluid systems Engineering, including design, development, integration and testing, propellant handling, and launch support to the Mission Engineering & Systems Analysis (MESA) Division and related Engineering and Technology Directorate (ETD) organizations, for the formulation and implementation of flight and ground systems, and development and validation of new technologies. These services support all aspects of mission formulation and implementation for systems, science instruments, payloads, observatories, launch, ground system, spacecraft, and suborbital craft (e.g., aircraft, sounding rockets, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), balloons), including services for the following: free-flying spacecraft, suborbital craft payloads, and Space Station payloads.
McCallie will provide support to Wallops Flight Facility with a wide range of engineering, education, outreach and technical support services for the WFF, in the following areas: Technology Development, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Guidance/Navigation and Control Systems, Safety Engineering, Metrology, Project Management and Support, Facilities Engineering. Support shall be provided for WFF activities including Engineering and Technology Directorate (ETD), Suborbital and Special Orbital Projects Directorate, Sciences and Exploration Directorate, Facilities Management Branch, and Ground Network activities as required at the Wallops Flight Facility.
This position description is intended to collect resumes for the various positions that will be filled to support all task orders for SEAS II including Goddard and Wallops tasks, as well as those that are transitioning from TIDES (via MIST) and WESC contracts.
