Rolling Greens began as a partnership between its former owners in 1975, Paul Levy & Teddi Marshall.  Starting with only $150.00 to purchase inventory, the company began street vending as Rolling Greens "The Plant Store at Your Door". Some sales to homeowners and word-of-mouth referrals led to a commercial account, where the client requested we maintain his plants.  Thus began the Horticultural Services side of the business.  Incorporated in the state of Virginia in 1978, Rolling Greens became active in this new industry called "interiorscaping".  The abilities of the two former owners to sell products and services to the architectural and interior design communities were instrumental in the initial success of the company. 

Today, Rolling Greens, Inc., is acknowledged as a leader in the industry, both locally and nationally. Rolling Greens is now a division of the Universial Engeisha Group and is publically traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The current staff services nearly 1,000 accounts on a regular basis, including many Fortune 500 clients, regional shopping centers, Five-Star restaurants and hotels, developers, top law firms, big eight accounting firms, embassies, and associations.  All accounts are located in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area.

Besides a long history of experience in interiorscaping and horticulture, the management staff averages over fifteen years with Rolling Greens, and the technical staff averages more than 8 years. Rolling Greens Horticultural Services Program guarantees the health and appearance of each individual plant. Other specialty divisions include the Holiday Decoration Division and Exterior Urban landscape Division, and “Replica” Plant Division. Rolling Greens also provides a complete line of accessories, including containers of all types, ash and trash receptacles, and several lines of site furniture, all to better meet the needs of the customer.
