Current Need:
The McKesson Strategic Pricing and Manufacturer Relations (SPMR) team is hiring a Project Manager at McKesson's headquarters in Irving, TX. SPMR is a high growth and impact team that oversees a distribution contract portfolio of $250B+ in annual WAC Sales and manages contract negotiations and relationships with over 400 biopharma partners working with pharma product categories covering Brand, Specialty, Biosimilars, Plasma, Vaccines, Rare/Orphan, and Cell and Gene. The team's position provides a unique opportunity to have a 360 view of the pharmaceutical industry.
The SPMR Team is seeking a creative and structured thinker to join our team to support manufacturer relations, team development, strategic positioning, and cross-enterprise collaboration. This individual will partner and support projects across the SPMR department and be a champion of our SPMR values and culture.
This is a hybrid role in Irving, TX. Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to our Corporate Headquarters in Irving, TX and will be expected to be in office at least one day per week. Additional days may be necessary based on business needs.
External Manufacturer Partner Engagement:
Planning, registration, project management, and logistics support for internal and external events, meetings, and conferences with our manufacturer partners. Events and meetings include trade events (NACDS, Asembia, HDA, ECRM conferences), McKesson conferences (National Sales Conference and ideaShare), and Advisory Board meetings.
Create manufacturer intelligence dashboards that incorporate industry and team insights to prepare SPMR for external partner engagement.
Support communications and content elements for external partner engagements including capabilities overviews, conference presentations, and updates to the supplier portal.
Internal Communications:
Support communication and content elements for internal meetings or publications including All Hands or Town Hall meetings, team training sessions, and presentations with other McKesson enterprise teams. Collaborate across SPMR team for engagement.
Special Initiatives / Project Management:
Project management of key SPMR initiatives within our team, our business unit (Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services), and McKesson enterprise that enhance profitability, engagement, and operational efficiencies with manufacturer partners.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of project management and/or communications experience.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, communications or a related field required; Advanced degree preferred.
Critical Skills:
4+ years of experience with project management, communications, and/or training
Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus
Additional Skills:
Passion for teamwork and collaboration, with emphasis on adaptability and flexibility
Excellent communicator - a crisp writer and PowerPoint wizard with the ability to research unfamiliar topics and communicate key messaging clearly, succinctly, and effectively for a variety of audiences
Proactive project management - ability to balance multiple priorities and drive initiatives through a matrixed organization while cultivating strong cross-functional relationships without extensive supervision
Analytical - ability to analyze data to pull out key takeaways and reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, Forms, and SharePoint), Tableau, SAP, Salesforce, survey tools

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
