Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing ongoing operations and maintenance of the platform, including upgrades and enhancement of existing Agency ITSM Tool (ServiceNow™).
  • Performing as a Tier 3 tools engineer, collaborating with Tier 1 and Tier 2 and stakeholder users to ensure successful use and application of each tool set.
  • Providing support for business services and tools portfolio within the government provided operations and DevOp environments.
  • Providing support to response-centric tools or software, conducting automated testing, and reviewing change management tools and processes and recommend process improvements.
  • Supporting the agency mobile solution platform to facilitate collection and consumption of real-time data and deployment of program assessment tools.
  • Administering and maintaining source code management tools, such as Azure code repository.
  • Supporting the agency mobile solution platform to facilitate collection and consumption of real-time data and deployment of program assessment tools.
  • Establishing and maintaining an enterprise source code repository that includes agency interna and non-internal developed source code.
  • Publishing source code to government website in compliance with agency and federal policies and mandates.
  • Providing end to end lifecycle support for the agency/bureau Workforce management tool (WMT).
  • Creating and maintaining application scripts including Data Quality Management scripts, as necessary.
  • Maintaining the application toolbox script utility and updating with new scripts as necessary.
  • Providing support for releases for system enhancements, bug fixes, security patches, and minor system changes.
  • Following standard Agency ITSM Tool (ServiceNow™) procedures to create and/or manage Updates.
  • Expanding the use of existing modules to support current and ongoing projects and engagements, and new demands.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification:

  • An active SECRET or the ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 - 7 years, or master’s degree with 3 - 5 years, or PhD with 1 - 2 years’ experience is required; four (4) years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with assessment tools such as SIMS 4.1 Site, SIMS 4.1.
  • Experience supporting ServiceNow™ enterprise ITSM tool.
  • Experience supporting code repository, specifically within a Microsoft Azure environment.

 Preferred Qualification:

  • Microsoft Azure Certification
  • Experience working with cloud native monitoring and logging tools.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
